Lokoja, Kogi State: Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin, the Accord Party gubernatorial candidate, wishes to clarify his position regarding the recent appeal by Mr. Murtala Yakubu, the SDP governorship candidate, for him to step down in the forthcoming election. While Mr. Yakubu’s request is duly noted, Vice Admiral Jibrin would like to emphasize that he will not be stepping down for Mr. Yakubu. Instead, he believes that Mr. Yakubu should consider stepping down for him, and he has compelling reasons to support this stance.
