There Is Pressure On Me Not To Develop Benue At All – Gov. Alia Confesses

According to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, out of the 19 states in northern Nigeria, the state is the least developed.

On Friday, while breaking the Ramadan fast with Makurdi’s Muslim faithful, Alia made the statement.

But he pledged that things had to change because his administration was going to start development projects that would elevate Benue above other states in the nation.

Benue is among the least developed of the 19 northern states. We are only now beginning to install solar streetlights.
