NAFDAC Investigates Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries Over Fake Miracle Products
Abuja, Nigeria – The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a statement accusing Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, of using its name falsely to mislead the public.
NAFDAC, in a statement released on Sunday and signed by its Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, revealed that the church is marketing “Miracle Water” and “Miracle Soap” that have not been registered with the agency. The statement follows numerous petitions from concerned citizens about the products being promoted by the church.
The agency condemned the church’s claims that the Miracle Water and Soap can cure barrenness and aid conception of twins. NAFDAC emphasized that these products are not registered with the agency and warned the public against their use.
According to NAFDAC, the church has been misleading the public by promoting these products on social media and suggesting that they have healing properties. The church’s claims have prompted members of the public to visit NAFDAC offices for verification.
The products in question include “Miracle & Healing Water,” “River Jordan Water,” “Miracle Water from The Pool of Bethsaida,” “A New Beginning Mount Carmel Miracle Water,” “Water of Life,” and others. NAFDAC is currently investigating the matter and has urged the public to be cautious.
