Bandit Leader Bello Turji Issues Ominous Warning to Hausa People in Northwestern Nigeria
Katsina, Nigeria – In a chilling video released on Wednesday night, notorious bandit leader Bello Turji issued a stark warning to the Hausa community in Northwestern Nigeria, accusing them of betrayal and hypocrisy. Turji claimed that the Hausa people are responsible for the killing of innocent Fulani people and their livestock, vowing to continue his violent campaign against them if the attacks on Fulani tribes do not cease according to Daily Post report.
In the video, Turji did not mince words as he addressed the Hausa community directly. “You, the Hausa community, have killed our brothers and sisters, and nobody has said anything about it,” he stated, emphasizing that his group’s primary targets are not security personnel but rather the Hausa people themselves.
Turji, who is well-known for his brutal tactics, asserted that his gang possesses a wide array of weapons and is prepared to escalate their attacks if necessary. He warned that the Hausa people would face dire consequences if they continue to harm Fulani individuals or encroach on what he described as “our land.”
Drawing comparisons to global conflicts, Turji referenced wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq, suggesting that his group’s struggle is part of a broader fight. He also mentioned the death of Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, noting that even after Bin Laden’s demise, the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq persisted—a metaphor for his own group’s determination to continue their fight.
Turji’s threats extended to the agricultural activities of the Hausa people. “You will not harvest your farms. If you dare to, you will die. No farming this time around,” he declared, making it clear that his group would not allow the Hausa community to cultivate their lands without facing violent repercussions.
This latest video from Turji has heightened tensions in Northwestern Nigeria, where banditry and ethnic violence have already caused widespread suffering. The Nigerian government and security forces are under increasing pressure to address the escalating violence and restore peace to the region.
