Rt Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, OON, has dismissed as false and misleading a report by TrackNews claiming that the presidency directed former Governor Yahaya Bello and Governor Usman Ododo to honour a one-term agreement in Kogi State, allegedly involving him.

The lawmaker, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency and chairs the House Committee on Finance, stated that he was never involved in, nor aware of, any discussion or agreement relating to a one-term deal in Kogi State.

“At no point in time was I a party to such an agreement, whether directly or indirectly,” Faleke said, describing the report as a fabrication with no factual basis.

He explained that the publication triggered numerous calls and messages seeking clarification, making it necessary to publicly set the record straight. Faleke urged the public to disregard the story entirely and called on the media to verify information before publication.
