According to information obtained by The Bureau Newspaper, the most recent attack took place on Wednesday, January 8, at approximately 8 p.m., when the attackers broke into the neighborhood.

According to reports, unidentified attackers have slain at least 11 people in the most recent atrocity that is still going on in Amanaogu Autonomous Community Ihitenansa in the Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State, Southeast Nigeria.

According to information obtained by The Bureau Newspaper, the most recent attack took place on Wednesday, January 8, at approximately 8 p.m., when the attackers broke into the neighborhood. According to unverified accounts, between Sunday, January 5 and Wednesday, January 8, at least 30 individuals were slain. According to some sources, there were as many as 40 casualties.

Videos of the remains of at least 11 victims—including women and children—in front of their homes have been retrieved, indicating that the recent attack has claimed many lives.

There is considerable uncertainty about the attack’s circumstances. It appears that the victims were murdered at a local bar as well as inside their homes.

It seems that a mother, father, and only kid were killed with their mother-in-law in front of their neighborhood shopping mall in one of the unsettling films that SaharaReporters was able to collect.

In one of the videos, a voice recounts a terrifying incident where the assailants broke into another home, went upstairs, and mercilessly murdered the whole family.

“This very family ran into their house, locked their door and went upstairs and yet these assailants broke their doors, went after them and killed five persons inside,” according to the voice.

The residence was the scene of the murders of a mother, son, daughter, and two more family members. This is wicked.

In one of the recordings, a different speaker says: “You see, roughly three of these individuals were shot, and the majority were killed with cutlasses. What transgression did they commit? My heart is truly bleeding.

The state police headquarters, meanwhile, was unable to confirm or refute the most recent attack.
When SaharaReporters contacted ASP Henry Okoye, the spokesman for the state police command, for response, he asked that a text message be provided with a query. He had not, however, returned several calls or replied to the text message at the time this complaint was filed.

The Amankwo Amaebu community and the Amanaogu Ihitenansa independent community have been the most severely affected by the violence, according to SaharaReporters.
