Sexual Perversion: FG To Ban Queen Primer Textbook

The house of representatives has requested that Queen Primer, a textbook used in elementary schools, be banned by the federal, state, and local governments.

At Thursday’s plenary, the green chamber approved the resolution following the passage of a motion proposed by Zamfara state lawmaker Sulaiman Gumi.

According to Gumi, the textbook “subtly introduces phrases that communitize sexual deviance and immoral behavior, such as “gay” and “eros.”

The textbook exposes kids to vocabulary that isn’t age-appropriate, he claimed.

“Unlawful, unethical, highly immoral, and antithetical to child upbringing,” was how the lawmaker put it.

A “total ban on the local production, importation and use of any educational material” that contains phrases that educate or encourage “lesbianism, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT)” in schools across the nation is what the house requested the federal government to impose.

The Nigeria Educational Research and Development Council, the Education Research Council (ERC), and the Ministry of Education were also requested by the house to “carefully vet and censor” the educational materials used in the nation’s nursery and primary schools to make sure they are “appropriate and devoid of any connotation of pervasive culture.”

“EXTREME NORMS”

Gumi made the motion and claimed that there is a “influx” of foreign educational resources that support and impart “certain morals” that are “alien and inimical” to the norms and values of the country.

He asserted that moral principles must be “instilled and protected” in society and children by opposing actions that break the law.

Same-sex marriage and homosexual relationships are forbidden by the country’s anti-gay laws. Convicted parties may spend up to 14 years in prison.

Homosexual gatherings are forbidden, as is running or visiting a gay club, group, or organization. It is also forbidden to publicly display intimate same-sex intimacy, and offenders risk a 10-year prison sentence.
