Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Alleged Legal Dispute with Husband Resurfaces
Recent reports suggest a legal dispute between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and her husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan, over allegations including breach of promise of marriage, poisoning, financial loss, and indebtedness.
A letter from Indemnity Partners, dated November 19, 2020, reportedly detailed Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s claims, alleging that Uduaghan pursued her with persistent marriage promises, which led her to accept his advances.
The letter claims that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan was involved in major business ventures, including a N7 billion NDDC and SMEDAN project, but was allegedly influenced by Uduaghan to halt them unless he approved.
Additionally, it alleges that she suffered an ectopic pregnancy resulting in the loss of her left fallopian tube and ovary. It further claims she faced physical abuse and that, upon another pregnancy, Uduaghan insisted on an abortion and allegedly served her a poisoned meal that led to a miscarriage.
The letter also cites financial losses, demanding compensation, including a N400 million loan repayment and N10 billion for damages.
While these allegations have resurfaced, neither Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan nor her husband has made an official statement regarding the claims. The situation remains under scrutiny as more details emerge.
