The Kebbi State Pre-Voter Registration Committee has commenced work across communities to mobilize residents ahead of the upcoming general registration exercise. The committee was set up by the State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, and began its assignment on Sunday.

Registration Centers Opened for Easy Access

The team has established registration centers in strategic locations across Kebbi to ensure accessibility. Officials are also providing guidance and assistance to help citizens complete their registration smoothly and obtain their voter cards.

Call for Citizens to Register

Commissioner Yakubu Ahmed BK urged all eligible citizens, especially those who have just attained voting age, to seize the opportunity to register. He emphasized that with a voter card, individuals can elect credible leaders of their choice and shape the future of governance.

Strong Community Response

The initiative has been warmly received by residents, who expressed appreciation for the government’s effort to make registration easier. Many communities, including large numbers of women, turned out en masse to begin the process of obtaining their voter cards.
