Nigeria News Today: ACF Lauds Kebbi Gov. Idris on Security, Infrastructure and Human Development
The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has commended the achievements of Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, highlighting his efforts in security, infrastructure, and human development over the past two years. The commendation came during a courtesy visit by the Forum’s leadership to the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Tuesday.
ACF’s Commendation
Speaking during the visit, ACF Board of Trustees Chairman, Alhaji Dalhatu Waziri Dutse, praised the governor for strengthening security and executing key development projects across Kebbi. He noted that while ACF remains a non-partisan body, its 25-year mandate has been to safeguard the political and economic interests of Northern Nigeria.
“The progress we have seen in Kebbi under Governor Idris’ leadership is commendable. His support for security agencies has notably enhanced the fight against banditry and other threats,” Dutse said.
Also, ACF Chairman, Mr. Mamman Mike Osuman, SAN, lauded Idris’ bold leadership, pledging the Forum’s readiness to collaborate with Northern Governors and the FCT in driving regional growth.
Governor’s Response
In his remarks, Governor Idris expressed gratitude to the ACF delegation and pledged to continue governing with diligence and patriotism. He described the Forum as a “reliable partner” in advancing the interests of Kebbi and the wider North.
The governor noted that in just two years, Kebbi had recorded progress in agriculture, education, infrastructure, and security. He assured that his administration will sustain its momentum to deliver high-quality projects and services for the people.
