Mohbad’s management team has initiated legal action against his father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, filing a N200 million defamation suit in response to his recent claims.

In a previous interview, Mr. Aloba asserted that his late son, the Nigerian musician Mohbad, left an unsigned thumbprint-only will at the age of 26.

The management team, in a statement, vehemently denied the allegations, describing the purported will as unprecedented and unreal.

Subsequently, legal action has been taken against Mohbad’s father, with the management demanding a retraction of the alleged slanderous remarks and a public apology.

The management’s letter explicitly states, “You are to publish the same unqualified apology… within 14 days of this letter with payment of N200,000,000 (Two hundred Million Naira) through this honourable chambers (Bankole Falade & Co) within the set period.” The notice seeks both a public correction of the statements and financial compensation for damages.
