As witnesses testify before the three-member Edo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, presided over by Justice Wilfred Kpochi and convened in Benin City, more startling disclosures regarding the electoral fraud that took place during the September 21st governorship election in Edo State are starting to surface.

When it comes to resolving discrepancies in polling unit results at the RA/Ward level, officials are required by the Electoral Act 2022 and INEC’s Manual and Guidelines for Conduct of Governorship Elections to identify the point of discrepancy, resolve it using the electronic result, and ask the presiding officer to approve the resolution.
