Woman Wakes Up to Bloody Handprint on Belly After ‘Spiritual Attack’ in Dream
Residents of Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia, have been left in shock after a pregnant woman claimed she was slapped by a spirit in her sleep and woke up with a strange bloody handprint on her belly.
The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, recounted her chilling experience in an interview with Liberian journalist Donso Sheriff. According to her, she had a terrifying dream in which a mysterious woman attempted to snatch her unborn child, leading to a struggle.
“When I opened my eyes, my stomach was burning. When I looked down, there was a red handprint on my belly… and it was bleeding,” she narrated, visibly shaken.
Alarmed by the mysterious mark, her family immediately rushed her to the hospital. However, medical experts have yet to provide any scientific explanation for the occurrence.
While the case remains unexplained, many locals are convinced it was a spiritual attack, reinforcing deeply rooted beliefs in supernatural forces.
As speculation continues to spread, the incident has sparked discussions on the intersection of traditional beliefs and modern medicine in Liberia.
