On behalf of the Usman Jibrin campaign organization, I write to felicitate His Excellency, Capt. Idris Ichalla Wada, the former governor of Kogi State, on the occasion of his birthday.
During your days in office, you demonstrated an enviable zeal, zest, and passion for development. Some of your achievements to date have remained unmatched, and that gives us every reason to celebrate your existence.
Today, we’re wishing a happy birthday to a leader we hold so much respect and admiration for, having demonstrated the unimaginable precept of leadership at every level of his private and public life.
Against impossible odds, you stayed true to your conviction by cementing your place in the annals of Kogi history as the only governor who, amid intimidation, abolished political thuggery in the state.
Your exceptional service delivery, coupled with your astute regard for the rule of law and democratic principles, placed you in the deepest part of our hearts as we bid to correct the many wrongs in the state since you left office roughly eight years ago.
We understand the importance of what you have done for the state, and we cherish it as our principal, Admiral Usman Jibrin, the Accord Party governorship candidate, bids to build on some of your wonderful legacies in the state when he assumes office in January next year.
Again, we say a happy birthday to you, his Excellency, Idris Ichalla Wada, the former Governor of Kogi State.
