United States President-elect Donald Trump has raised concerns over what he described as a violent erosion of safety, national security, and democracy, which he said is taking place across the country.
“Our country is a disaster, a laughing stock all over the World,” Trump who will take leadership from outgoing President Joe Biden on January 20, 2025, stated that only strength and powerful leadership will stop the current situation in the United States.
SaharaReporters reported on January 1 that a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday, New Year’s Day. The blast killed the driver of the electric car and left at least seven other people injured.
Also, there was a terrorist attack at New Orleans which claimed at least 15 lives on same Wednesday.
In another incident, 10 people were shot outside a music venue in Queens, New York, after several men opened fire on a group waiting to enter.
According to local police, the incident occurred around 11:18 pm local time on Wednesday. The victims, aged 16 to 20, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Police reported that approximately 30 shots were fired, and the male suspects fled the scene on foot before escaping in a sedan with out-of-state plates.
However, the incoming president blamed the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Democrat state and local prosecutors whom he accused of not doing their job.
Trump who stated this in a statement posted on his X handle on Friday, described them as “incompetent and corrupt, having spent all of their waking hours unlawfully attacking their political opponent, ME, rather than focusing on protecting Americans from the outside and inside violent SCUM that has infiltrated all aspects of our government, and our Nation itself”.
He wrote: “Our Country is a disaster, a laughing stock all over the World! This is what happens when you have OPEN BORDERS, with weak, ineffective, and virtually nonexistent leadership.
“The DOJ, FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors have not done their job,” he said.
“Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen to our Country. The CIA must get involved, NOW, before it is too late.
“The USA is breaking down – A violent erosion of Safety, National Security, and Democracy is taking place all across our Nation. Only strength and powerful leadership will stop it. See you on January 20th. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.
