Troops of 12 Brigade Nigerian Army have foiled a bandit ambush and rescued a kidnapped victim in Kogi State. The successful operation occurred around Oshokoshoko and Obajana in Lokoja Local Government Area as part of intensified security efforts.

In the early hours of November 25 2025 troops deployed at Kabba Patrol Base acted on credible intelligence. The soldiers worked jointly with hybrid forces to intercept bandits moving through the Oshokoshoko Obajana corridor with abducted persons.
