Former Reality TV Star Found Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide in Poland
Poznan, Poland – A former reality TV star, Paulina Lerch, aged 33, was found dead in her luxury home near Poznan City, in what police suspect to be a tragic murder-suicide. Lerch, who appeared on Top Model in Poland twice, was allegedly shot by her husband, Sławomir, aged 47, who then turned the gun on himself.
The bodies were discovered on Sunday, September 1, after Paulina’s family, concerned about not hearing from her for over a week, alerted authorities. Police found the house locked from the inside, with a revolver lying next to the couple’s bodies.
Sławomir, who had a history of legal trouble, was reportedly an alleged drug trafficker. He had been arrested earlier this year, along with 30 others, after 60kg of drugs were found in a warehouse. He was released from custody in early August.
Lerch had kept her marriage to Sławomir private, and the exact circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear. Authorities are investigating whether her death was the result of murder or a suicide pact.
