Hon. Honorius Arome Rallies Kogites: “We Are One APC Family, Ododo’s 8 Years Are Sealed”

In a heartfelt call for unity and political maturity, Hon. Honorius Arome, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Usman Ododo on Farm Input, has urged the people of Kogi State to rise above divisive whispers and stand together as one strong All Progressives Congress (APC) family.
Speaking passionately on Thursday, Arome dismissed ongoing rumours of a rift between the Audu-Faleke camp and the Bello-led faction, describing them as “mere tales spun to weaken the spirit of brotherhood that has long defined Kogi’s APC.”
“There’s no division in our home. The APC in Kogi remains one big family, built on loyalty, faith, and shared purpose. Governor Ododo’s journey is God-ordained, and no propaganda can rewrite destiny,” Arome said, his voice thick with conviction.
‘Ododo’s 8 Years Are Sealed’ — Arome Declares
In what many have described as a powerful statement of confidence, Hon. Arome declared that Governor Ododo’s second term is already divinely destined and politically certain.
“Ododo will complete his 8 years in office without any hiccups,” he affirmed. “He is a man of peace and purpose, and Kogites can already feel the freshness of his leadership. The people have chosen progress over politics.”
The SSA urged members of opposition parties to bury the hatchet and join what he called “the winning team” — the APC — adding that “the wind of development currently blowing through Kogi cannot be stopped by bitterness.”
‘Food Prices Down Because of Ododo’s Touch’
Arome also praised the governor’s far-reaching agricultural policies, noting that the sharp drop in food prices across the state is a direct outcome of Ododo’s support to farmers.
“Look around — from Anyigba to Okene, Lokoja to Kabba — the cost of garri, yam, and maize is falling. That’s not magic; it’s the fruit of Governor Ododo’s farm support initiatives. The people are feeling the relief,” he said.
He commended the governor’s distribution of incentives and farm inputs, saying it has restored hope to thousands of local farmers who now cultivate with renewed energy and faith in government.
Hope, Unity, and the Ododo Spirit
With emotion-laden words, Arome appealed to every son and daughter of Kogi to “stand behind the governor as he builds a future of food security, peace, and shared prosperity.”
“Kogi belongs to all of us,” he said. “Let us guard her peace, nurture her unity, and defend her leadership. The enemies of progress will fade; our strength lies in togetherness.”
As the sun sets over the Confluence State, Arome’s message rings clear — unity, loyalty, and faith remain the soul of Kogi’s political journey under Governor Ododo.
