Nigeria News Today: The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that United States President, Donald Trump, is allegedly plotting to remove him from office.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed that the US President has already “caged” President Tinubu and is determined to see him forced out of power.

Primate Ayodele alleged that the support being extended by the United States to Nigeria in the fight against insecurity is not genuine, but rather a strategy to penetrate the country’s political system.

“Trump is adamant to remove President Tinubu. America will be part of those who will be against Tinubu. You may not see it as I am being shown, and that’s why I am saying Trump is after removing Tinubu, that’s it and nothing more,” the cleric said.

According to him, the real intention of the US President is not focused on ending insecurity in Nigeria.

“Nigeria will still continue to fight insecurity, but either they fight it or not, Trump is focused on removing Tinubu from office, but he doesn’t know it yet,” he stated.

He further alleged that President Trump already understands his objectives and would not relent until they are achieved.

“He isn’t after ending insecurity in the country. He knows what he wants and won’t stop at nothing towards achieving it,” Ayodele added.

The cleric advised President Tinubu to take decisive political steps to counter the alleged plans, warning that failure to do so could lead to political defeat.

“Tinubu must take a very bold step to overcome the plans of Trump, because he has caged him already,” he warned.

He added that the President must remain strategic and proactive, stressing that failure to act could result in a celebrated political setback.

“Tinubu must not relent his efforts and bring up strategies for him to succeed, otherwise he would be at the losing end while his defeat would be celebrated,” Ayodele said.

The Bureau News reports that the claims have sparked mixed reactions across social media, with calls for caution and verification from political analysts and observers.
