Popular TikTok content creators Peller and Jarvis are currently trending across social media after a video from a recent Seyi Vibez concert sparked heated debates online.
The duo, who grew from TikTok livestreams and AI content creation to becoming full-blown influencers, have built a strong following. They are also in a relationship, which has kept fans invested in their journey.
What Happened at Seyi Vibez’s Concert?
During the concert, Peller was seen live-streaming the event, while Jarvis attended because Seyi Vibez is one of her favourite artists. In clips circulating online, Peller appeared protective of Jarvis when some men tried to confront them. He asked her to get into a car for safety, while he would take another.
However, Jarvis refused and questioned why she should follow his instruction. In frustration, Peller dragged her towards the car, sparking visible tension between the couple.
Later, in another clip, Peller was seen urging Jarvis to stay calm and let him handle the situation, but he pushed her again during their argument. Eventually, they reconciled, got past the incident, and even shared affectionate moments.
Fans React to the Viral Video
When the video surfaced online, it caused mixed reactions. While some people felt Jarvis should have simply listened to Peller, others criticized Peller for his aggressive approach.
Activist Adetoun weighed in, warning Peller never to put his hands on Jarvis again or activists would intervene. She also cautioned the couple to be mindful of the kind of content they put out since many young fans look up to them.
Popular businesswoman and kayamata seller, Jaruma, also shared her opinion, stressing that public figures must take responsibility for their actions.
Peller and Jarvis Respond
Reacting to the controversy, Peller reminded fans that he is only 20 years old and still learning. He explained that the viral clip was only 30 seconds out of a six-hour stream and urged people not to judge him based on a short video.
Jarvis also went live to defend herself and her partner, telling critics to “advise their family members and leave her alone.” She emphasized that she is not a child and does not need outsiders dictating her relationship.
In the end, both Peller and Jarvis dismissed the backlash, asking Nigerians to mind their business.
