The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated a 119-member Convention Planning Committee as part of preparations for the 2025 general elections.
The committee is chaired by the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who will oversee the party’s roadmap to its national convention.
Leadership Structure of the Committee
The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the committee, while the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, will serve as Secretary.
Party leaders noted that the committee’s task is to ensure a transparent, inclusive, and well-organized convention that will position the PDP strongly ahead of the elections.
