NIWA GM Slumps And Dies After Leading Friday Prayer In Kogi (Photo)

Alhaji Jibril Dardau, the General Manager of Cooperate Affairs of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), passed away in Lokoja, Kogi State.

According to a family source, Dardau collapsed and passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, not long after leading an early morning prayer at the mosque.

This morning, he slouched in his living room. He had been controlling his blood pressure, or BP, for a while, the anonymous insider informed the Daily Trust.

“Last year, he lost his most senior wife.”

When word of his unexpected death spread early in the morning, the NIWA cooperative headquarters in Lokoja was plunged into sadness.

The body was laid to rest at the Unguwan Power cemetery in Lokoja following Friday’s Juma’at prayer.
