31-year-old Kanika Tekriwal who is an Indian businesswoman has started making headlines as she disclosed that she owns 11 private planes.
Kanika Tekriwal is an Indian entrepreneur, founder, and CEO of JetSetGo. In 2021, she was recognized as India’s youngest richest woman. She also founded the country’s first aircraft leasing organization.
In the video making the rounds online, Kanika Tekriwal said that she owns 11 private planes which included nine planes and two helicopters. She stressed that she falls in love with planes since she at a much younger age.
According to her, she wanted to be a pilot but she comes from a very orthodox indian business family whom they believed that a female child should work within the family or should not work at all.
However, she later comes with the idea of “If I can’t fly them, I will own them.” She moved on by raising money from investors then buys planes and started renting as she belives that planes are the uber of the skies.
According to the Indian business woman who owns 11 private planes, the planes are not only used by CEOs and wealthy people in the society, they makes impact in the society bt providing urgent medical responses.
In her words; “It is also for people who need medical care for example someone pass away and there is organ available which can be used by some other persons, we do organ tranfers from point A to point B, emergency response and resuce mission.”
