Paul Okoye Accuses Twin Brother Peter of Framing Jude Over Fraud Case

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as RudeBoy, has accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, of being responsible for the fraud allegations leveled against their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye.

Jude was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday over alleged money laundering involving ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59. He was charged alongside his company, Northside Music Ltd, before Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court, Lagos.

The former P-Square manager pleaded “not guilty” to the seven-count charge. However, the judge ordered his remand at the Ikoyi correctional facility, pending the hearing of his bail application.

In a viral video recorded at the court premises on Friday, Paul Okoye vowed to secure Jude’s release, insisting that Peter was behind the ordeal.

“I’m supporting him because I know the truth,” Paul stated.

“The truth is Peter is the one putting Jude through these things. It’s Peter who is doing this. He is putting him in prison, and I’m here to bring him out.

“I’m only standing for the truth because the same crime they accused him of, then Peter is guilty, and Paul is also guilty too.”

The unfolding family drama has drawn widespread attention, reigniting old tensions between the once-united P-Square brothers.
