According to the emerging report, the governor, who is hell-bent on installing his successor, has directed his foot soldiers to embark on what can be termed “massive buying of voter cards.”
In recent times, there has been speculation about how the state government empowered some individuals to perpetrate this evil, stamping their resolve to manipulate the election in favor of Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
A concerned citizen who witnessed this ill-fated outing orchestrated by the Yahaya Bello-led administration has today exposed the modus operandi of the group.
According to him, the group will approach eligible voters in the name of trying to educate or sensitize them. They will then collect the PVC and write off the voter identification Number, or VIN.
It’s believed that the perpetrators will go ahead and use the voter identification Number (VIN) to manipulate the forthcoming governorship candidate.
