As Christians across the globe celebrate Easter, the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Grassroots Mobilization, Hon. Enejoh Simon Sani, has called on Christian faithful to reflect on the virtues of love, unity, and sacrifice exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Speaking during the Easter Sunday celebration at CMML Church in Agada Ogbabede, Hon. Enejoh emphasized the need for Christians to not only celebrate the resurrection of Christ but to also live by His teachings—especially the message of love.

He urged worshippers to offer prayers for the success of Nigeria’s leaders, particularly the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, who he described as a “man of purpose and peace” committed to the holistic development of Kogi State.

“Let the message of Easter not end in celebration. As Christians, we must demonstrate love, patience, and sacrifice just as Christ did. Pray for our leaders, especially His Excellency Governor Ododo, as he works tirelessly to bring development to every part of Kogi,” he said.

The Special Adviser reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring grassroots engagement remains a key pillar in Governor Ododo’s people-centered governance, assuring the people of Agada and its environs of continued inclusion and participation in the state’s developmental agenda.

The Easter gathering was marked by songs of worship, fervent prayers, and messages of hope, as the Christian community in Agada Ogbabede joined the global body of Christ in commemorating the resurrection of Jesus.
