Anyigba, Kogi State — We, the campaign team of Admiral Usman Jibrin, the authentic governorship candidate of the Accord Party, hereby vehemently debunk the false information circulating on social media regarding a purported fake INEC finalist list of governorship candidates.
It has come to our attention that a doctored list has been making the rounds on social media platforms, where Admiral Usman Jibrin’s name has been intentionally removed and replaced with a false name. We wish to categorically state that this is a blatant act of misinformation and an attempt to deceive the public.
Admiral Usman Jibrin is the duly nominated governorship candidate of the Accord Party for the forthcoming elections, as officially recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). His candidacy has undergone a thorough and transparent selection process, and it has been approved by the relevant authorities.
We urge the public to exercise caution and verify information from credible sources before believing or sharing any political news. Such false information not only undermines the integrity of our democratic process but also misleads the public. It is essential to remember that spreading false or manipulated information can have severe consequences on our society.
