Breaking News: Kano APC Suspends National Chairman Ganduje Over Alleged Bribery

A significant new controversy has emerged within the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the suspension of its National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, by party members in Kano State.

Dr. Ganduje, who previously served as the governor of Kano State, faces allegations of corruption, including bribery accusations made by the Kano State Government.

His suspension was announced by the executive members of his local party ward in Dawakin-Tofa, Kano State. During a press conference, the ward’s legal adviser, Halliru Gwanzo, detailed the accusations against Ganduje, which include gross misconduct and the mismanagement of public funds during his time as governor.

Gwanzo emphasized that the decision to suspend Ganduje was unanimously agreed upon by the ward members, citing the gravity of the allegations and Ganduje’s inability to refute the claims stemming from his eight-year tenure.

“This decision to suspend Dr. Ganduje from the party was taken due to the seriousness of the allegations against him,” Gwanzo explained.
