Bukayo Saka, a teenage player for Arsenal, is said to have visited his grandparents in Oro, Irepodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, out of respect.
Following the conclusion of the Premier League season, the Arsenal player is in Nigeria to stay connected to his roots.
Saka was born on September 5, 2001, to Yoruba, Nigerian parents, Adenike and Yomi Saka, in the London borough of Ealing.
The football player came in Lagos on May 31 after the 2022–2023 football season ended. He was at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
He had previously been seen at Bariga Lagos, where throngs of Arsenal supporters showered him with love.
According to Best Choice, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu received the England forward on Saturday at his office.
Sanwo-Olu, who was delighted by Saka’s visit, mentioned how thrilled he was to have a signed shirt from the athlete.
The 21-year-old was recently seen in Kwara State with his grandparents. Abdul A. Bello sent the image on his Twitter account and wrote:
