Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has raised alarm over a disturbing incident in Ibiza, Spain, where he claimed that security operatives attempted to kill him and members of his entourage.
The music icon is currently in the Mediterranean island to celebrate his longtime manager, Asa Asika, alongside his inner circle, which includes socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
Earlier, Chief Priest shared cheerful videos confirming their arrival in Ibiza for Asa Asika’s birthday celebration, showing what appeared to be a normal luxury getaway. However, the tone changed dramatically when Davido took to his Instagram story on Sunday, posting a series of alarming messages and photos, stating that the “security in Ibiza tried to kill us.”
He did not provide extensive details but warned that people should “watch out” and appeared visibly disturbed in the shared visuals. The incident has since sparked reactions from fans and followers across social media who are demanding answers from local authorities in Ibiza.
“This is not a good look for Ibiza or for global tourism,” a fan commented. “Davido is a global star and should not be treated this way.”
