‘Your Restlessness Has Just Begun’ – Fubara Fires Fresh Shot At Wike’s Camp

Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has promised to continue causing unrest in the camp of his estranged patron, Nyesom Wike.

Since Fubara and his former Boss, who is currently the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), fell out, there has been a crisis in Rivers.

During the groundbreaking of the auto spare parts market in Port Harcourt on Thursday, Fubara referred to the alleged list of PDP Caretaker Committee members for the State that was making the rounds on social media as a hoax.

He called the list, which includes some of Wike’s supporters’ names, the work of crisis managers and low-cost publicity seekers.

“I am aware that many of you have seen something trending on social media, daily. Let me just explain. We held a meeting and decided that the PDP Executive Councils should be prolonged for three months, affecting not only Rivers State but all the affected States as well.

“The goal of this extension is not to attract additional clients. Additionally, there was no mention in the extension that you were operating without the governor’s approval. I can therefore guarantee you that the lists you saw and the ones you amended will not stand.

We also decided that a NEC meeting should be held on April 18 to ratify that decision. For the record, so that you are aware of it.

Thus, what you are witnessing is the creation of desperate individuals who enjoy being in the spotlight. Indeed, the loudest roar comes from empty drums. Don’t worry about anything, then. Nothing is taking place.

Governor Fubara promised to keep his critics restless and made reference to the fear that has fallen upon them in light of his warning from a day ago that he will surprise those who challenge him.

According to the governor, Rivers State is still a crucial interest that needs to be protected, which is why his administration decided to pursue peace in order to promote development.

“It’s evident how agitated they have been since I made a single declaration yesterday. We are going to keep them fidgety.

They won’t be able to discern our origins. We’ll keep hitting them hard, just like we did yesterday. Therefore, those of you who were concerned when you seen the lists flying should go relax; nothing is going to happen.
