Wike Mandates Immediate Shutdown of International Conference Centre for Upgrades [Pictures]

On Monday, April 8, 2024, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, paid a visit to the Abuja International Conference Centre.

He expressed his displeasure with the state of the facilities and issued an order for their immediate closure so that Julius Berger, Nig. Plc. could undertake renovations.

The minister was attended by representatives from the FCTA, AICL, Julius Berger, Nigeria Plc, and the MD of the Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL), Amb. Maureen Tamuno.
