Tinubu makes a state visit to Qatar.

Arriving in Doha, Qatar, President Bola Tinubu is visiting the Middle Eastern nation for official business.

After launching the Lagos Red Line on Thursday afternoon, Tinubu left Lagos and arrived in Doha at 9:35 p.m.

The visit, which was at the invitation of His Highness, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, was intended to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in a number of areas, including security, cultural exchange, and economic development, according to a statement released by the President’s media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday.

He stated that President Tinubu would be present for the signing of a number of agreements aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s real sector, generating value-added investments in trade, education, culture, solid minerals, digital economy, agriculture, and gas, as well as promoting collaboration in the fight against terrorism.

Ngelale reports that the President will also take part in an investment and business event that would unite senior leaders from Qatar’s public and commercial sectors with Nigerian counterparts to promote cross-sectoral prospects for mutually beneficial growth and development.

Senior government representatives travel with Tinubu to witness the signing of deals.
