VeryDarkMan Alleges Bias in Mercy Chinwo’s Lawsuit, Releases ‘Evidence’
Controversial social critic VeryDarkMan has stirred fresh controversy in the ongoing legal battle between renowned gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former record label boss, Eezee Tee.
Chinwo had accused Eezee Tee of fraud and financial exploitation, leading to a lawsuit that has captured public attention. However, in a recent Instagram post, VeryDarkMan claimed to have evidence implicating Mercy Chinwo in the legal dispute.
Allegations Against the Prosecutor and Judge
VeryDarkMan specifically raised concerns over Rotimi Oyedepo, the prosecutor in the case, alleging that he had been sanctioned by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for human rights violations.
Furthermore, he accused the presiding judge, Michael Nzekwe, of potential bias, pointing out that the judge follows Mercy Chinwo on Instagram. This, he argued, could indicate a conflict of interest in the case.
Expressing doubts about the fairness of the trial, VeryDarkMan called for the judge’s recusal, suggesting that the case should be reassigned to “a neutral person, preferably a Muslim judge who does not listen to gospel songs and has no affiliation with Eezee Concept.”
The allegations have sparked widespread debate online, with some backing VeryDarkMan’s call for transparency, while others see his claims as an attempt to stir controversy.
