Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy Confirms Fresh US Supply Of Drones, Ammunition, Others Worth $275Million To Fight Russia

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday confirmed US’s fresh supply of drones, ammunition for HIMARS and artillery and other support packages worth $275 million to sustain the war against Russia.

President Zelenskyy, who made this known on his verified social media handle, said the new support package is the 70th defence package Ukraine got from the US.

“The United States has announced a new support package worth $275 million. It includes drones, ammunition for HIMARS and artillery, and—critically—essential mines to stop Russian assaults. This will significantly strengthen our troops on the front lines.

“This marks the 70th defense package from the United States. Ukraine deeply values the bipartisan support from America and the decision of President Biden. We are grateful for standing with us,” he said.

“We have already experienced so many cruel and vile attacks from Russia, sir raid alerts should always be heeded,” he added.

“We have that kind of neighbor – insane. Today, on the 1,001st day of a full-scale war, Russia is just as insane as it was on the 1,000th day and on February 24, with some panic messages passed around – all these benefits only Russia.

“Meanwhile, we continue to strengthen our air defence.”
