Tinubu Knows Nigerians Are Suffering, Moves Around Abuja at Night – Orji Kalu

Abuja, Nigeria – Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North in the National Assembly, has revealed that President Bola Tinubu frequently moves around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at night to understand the challenges facing ordinary Nigerians. During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Kalu explained that the president is fully aware of the economic hardship and suffering affecting citizens.

Kalu emphasized that Tinubu is deeply connected to the struggles of everyday people and is actively monitoring the situation on the ground. He described Tinubu as a “street person” who uses these nighttime excursions to stay in touch with the realities Nigerians face daily.

On the broader issue of economic hardship, Kalu highlighted that Nigeria is not alone in grappling with economic difficulties, noting that the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to impact economies worldwide. He explained that other countries have managed better due to more robust economies and the provision of palliative measures for their citizens and businesses. Kalu believes that Tinubu is taking bold steps to address the country’s economic challenges.
