Terrorist’s Rampage in Kaduna South: Kills Two, Kidnaps Sixteen

In a distressing development from Kaduna State, two individuals lost their lives while 16 others were abducted in a violent onslaught by bandits at Gidan Busa village, situated within Doka ward of Kachia Local Government Area. The harrowing incident unfolded around 11:30 pm on Friday, leaving the community in shock and mourning.

Musa Ibrahim, a local resident, recounted the terror that gripped the village as the bandits launched their attack, firing shots indiscriminately into the night. The chaos resulted in five villagers sustaining serious injuries, necessitating urgent medical attention at a nearby healthcare facility.

The assailants targeted the residence of Alhaji Hassan, a well-known figure in the community, abducting eight individuals, including his wife and children. Tragically, the raid also claimed the lives of one of Hassan’s employees and another female villager.

This recent act of violence adds to the escalating security challenges facing parts of Kaduna State, prompting calls for increased protection for vulnerable communities and swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice. As the injured victims receive treatment, the community remains united in grief and hope for the safe return of those abducted.
