Student Loan Application Portal Opens on May 24

The managing director of NELFUND, Akintunde Sawyerr, announced the launch of a new student loan portal on Thursday. This development was disclosed in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja by the fund’s media and public relations lead, Nasir Ayitogo.

Mr. Sawyerr highlighted that the opening of the portal represents a significant milestone in President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to fostering accessible and inclusive education for all Nigerian students. Through this portal, students can now access loans to pursue their academic aspirations without financial constraints.

He added that the portal features a user-friendly interface, allowing students to submit their loan applications conveniently and efficiently.

“We encourage all eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity to invest in their future and contribute to the growth and development of our nation,” Mr. Sawyerr said.

Mr. Sawyerr urged students to access the portal at www.nelf.gov.ng to begin their application process.
