Sad: Lady Slumped And Dies On Wedding Day In Ogbomoso

A sad incident happened last weekend in Ogbomoso, Oyo state. A bride passed away the morning after her wedding day was supposed to take place. This tragic story shows how mysterious and unpredictable life can be.

Rebecca Oyedotun was the bride, but she never got to become a wife. She was supposed to marry her husband, Abiodun Oluwadamilare, on Saturday, August 19. The preparations had been going on since Thursday, August 17. The groom and his family came from Abeokuta, Ogun state, and Rebecca had been in Ogbomoso since Monday.

Everything was ready by Friday, including the food and the venues for the ceremony. But sadly, the wedding couldn’t happen because the bride wasn’t available.

The bride didn’t show any signs of being sick, and her family and friends were shocked by what happened. On Friday night, she collapsed during her bridal shower. They rushed her to the hospital, and she seemed to be getting better. They even planned to discharge her briefly so she could sign the marriage documents. But her condition got worse again, and she had to stay in the hospital. Her husband was very upset and worried about her.

Unfortunately, Rebecca’s condition didn’t improve, and she passed away on Sunday morning. Many guests who didn’t know what had happened came to the church on Saturday, only to find out that the event was canceled.

Rebecca was a 28-year-old graduate of Federal University of Technology, Minna. She had served in Lagos state and had a job there before her unexpected death. She was known as a kind and devoted person who loved serving God.

Life is full of mysteries and things we can’t explain. This sad story reminds us how unpredictable life can be.
