Russia Hit Ukraine With Over 900 Bombs, 30 Missiles In One Week, 50 Drones In One Night, Says President Zelensky

Nkraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky has narrated how Russia has continued its offensive by deploying drones, bombs and missiles against his country.

In a post on his X handle on Sunday, he accused Russia attacking various regions in Ukraine with over 900 bombs.

“Last night, Russia terrorized Ukraine with over 50 strike drones, and over the past week, it has used more than 900 bombs, around 30 missiles, and nearly 500 ‘Shaheds’ against various regions of Ukraine,” he said.

He also noted that most of the attacks were targeted at civilian and critical infrastructures.

According the Zelensky, Russians were only able to attack Ukraine in such manners due to lack of sufficient support for Ukraine.

“All of these attacks would have been impossible if we had sufficient support from the world in crucial areas: long-range capabilities for our security,” he said.

He also called for effective sanctions against Russia to prevent them from importing critical components for drone and missile production.

“There are needs for effective sanctions to prevent Russia from importing critical components for drone and missile production, especially microelectronic and political decisions that could ruin Russia’s will to wage this war,” he said.

“Ukraine deserves the same strong security as all our partners in the free world.”

This development comes amid continued escalation of the crisis between Russia and Ukraine.

Zelensky has been calling for the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) to invite Ukraine to join as a member country, stating that Russia must lose the war.
