The decision, announced on Wednesday, was contained in a statement issued by the Chief of Staff to the state’s Administrator, Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, citing the powers conferred on him by President Bola Tinubu.

The affected officials have been directed to hand over their responsibilities to Permanent Secretaries in their respective ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs). In cases where no Permanent Secretary is available, the most senior Director or Head of Administration will assume leadership.
