Real Madrid is reportedly regretting their decision to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain after rape allegations surfaced in Sweden, according to Swedish media reports. The French forward, who joined the club on a free transfer in the summer, is accused of being involved in an incident at a hotel in Stockholm on October 10. Mbappe has denied the allegations.

Despite a promising start on the field, where he scored seven goals in 11 games for the Spanish club, Real Madrid is reportedly unhappy with his overall performance and his off-field issues. French football journalist Romain Molina claimed that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez was the only one eager to bring Mbappe to the Bernabeu and now the club regrets the decision.

“They regret bringing him in; I guarantee that,” Molina said, noting the club’s disappointment with Mbappe’s performances and the atmosphere in the dressing room, although he clarified that not all of it was Mbappe’s fault.

Molina also highlighted concerns about Mbappe’s physical condition at just 25, claiming that his physical decline is surprising. The allegations could have significant implications for both Mbappe and Real Madrid, as the club navigates the fallout from this controversy.
