President Joe Biden Tests Positive for COVID-19

Washington, D.C., USA — United States President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Janet Murguía, President and CEO of UnidosUS.

Murguía shared the news with attendees at a conference, stating, “I was just on the phone with President Biden. He expressed his deep disappointment at not being able to join us this afternoon. The president has been at many events, as we all know, and he just tested positive for COVID.”

CNN reports that Biden, 81, was expected to speak at the group’s conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. He had been scheduled to take the stage an hour and a half prior to the announcement.
