PHOTOS: Teachers Reportedly Beat, Strip Corp Member For ‘Not Greeting Properly’

The Bureau Newspaper reports that a member of Nigerian Youth Service Corps was allegedly beaten, stripped by a teachers for not greeting them properly. The shocking incident reportedly happened at Government Day Junior Secondary School, Kulende, Ilorin, Kwara State.

According to Nigeria Stories, a corps member who visited the school to collect her clearance letter was allegedly assaulted by a teacher for “not greeting properly.”

Eyewitnesses claim the teacher attacked her, tearing her NYSC white t-shirt, and was allegedly joined by another teacher who slapped her.

This incident has sparked outrage, with many calling for an investigation and accountability.
