Odu Akowe Meets Gov Yahaya Bello, Sues For Equal Development Across Kogi State.

Hon. Paul Odu Akowe, the Chairman of the Odu Network for Ododo/Joel 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the executive governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, following the recent governorship election in the state yesterday.

Odu Akowe argued extensively during the meeting that Kogi East didn’t in any way hate the current governor, as demonstrated at the polls a couple of weeks ago, adding that the factor that played was the fact that an Igala son was in the race.

Odu Akowe, who therefore urged the governor to see every region as a crucial zone that makes up the state and that development should cut across every nook and cranny of the state without considering the votes each region coughed towards Ododo’s success at the polls.

Speaking further, Hon. Paul Odu Akowe urged the governor to prioritize the need to raise future leaders that can be the face of Kogi East in the next political dispensation in Kogi.

Reacting to the courtesy call, the governor thanked Hon. Paul Odu Akowe for embarking on such a peace-seeking voyage while assuring the inhabitants of Kogi East of adequate development both in the current administration and in the next administration.

I’m always a friend of Kogi East; I love them, and I will continue to do so, says Governor Yahaya Bello. TheThe governor therefore tasked the chairmen of the Odu Network for Ododo/Joel 2023 to embark on a mission to harmonize Kogi East stakeholders and the electorates as they anticipate a new set of leaders in the state by January.

What transpired at the polls is the will of Almighty God. We must accept reality and think together about how to bring the dividends of democratic practice to bear in Kogi State. Gov. Bello said
