Nigerian Troops Arrest Woman Transporting Ammunition to Terrorists in Zamfara

A woman from Gusau’s Yammacin neighborhood named Shamsiyya was arrested by security personnel in Zamfara State for possessing ammunition.

While trying to deliver ammunition from Hanka to a terrorist hideaway, the female suspect was stopped by Nigerian troops at a checkpoint.

The suspect admitted in a video that The Bureau Newspaper was able to get that she received the ammo to deliver.

“I go by Shamsiyya. My spouse is named Umar, and I am a married woman. “This type of ammunition is something I have never seen before,” she remarked.

She went on to say, “The person who gave me the ammunition, I don’t know his name, but he was a Hausa man, and I had never seen him before.”

In response to a question about whether she was aware that the ammunition was lethal, she said, “I know it can kill, but I was only told to deliver it to someone.”

“I didn’t know what was inside the package they gave me to deliver, but I know the ammunition can kill someone,” she stated. I don’t want my two children to suffer any damage. But I didn’t realize the package contained ammunition.

She claims that although she was paid to deliver the gift, she was not told what was inside.
