Married Man Shoots Rival at Lover’s Home in Ondo (Photo)

Akure, Nigeria – The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 43-year-old man, Mr. Ajagba Joseph, for allegedly attempting to murder a man he found in his concubine’s house. The incident, which occurred on August 23rd, was revealed in a statement shared by the police command on Wednesday.

According to the police, Mr. Joseph visited his lover’s home only to discover another man, who was also reportedly in a relationship with the same woman, inside the house. Enraged by the situation, Joseph allegedly pulled out a single-barrel gun and shot the other man.

Fortunately, the victim survived the attack and is currently recuperating from his injuries. The police statement clarified, “Attempted Murder – This married man, Mr. Ajagba Joseph, aged 43, on the 23rd of August, went to his concubine’s house and met a co-concubine. He became angry and shot the other concubine with his single-barrel gun. The victim is recuperating, the suspect is in custody, and will soon be charged to court.”

The incident highlights the dangers of unresolved conflicts and the tragic outcomes that can arise from jealousy and anger. Mr. Joseph is expected to face charges of attempted murder as the case proceeds to court.
