Kogi Governor Appoints Hon. Honorius Arome as Key Aide in Major Government Reshuffle

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, has approved the appointment of 1,192 additional aides. This was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, in a statement issued on Monday.

Among the newly appointed aides are Hon. Honorius Arome, who was previously a stakeholder in Ibaji LGA, as SSA on Agricultural Inputs and Food Security, and Yakubu Abdulhakeem, who will serve as the Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Office for Disability. The appointments include 165 Senior Special Assistants, 36 Special Assistants, 574 Ward Special Assistants, and 290 Local Government Special Assistants.

Additionally, Ododo has approved the appointment of Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulsadiq as the Director of Protocol for the First Lady’s Office, along with several other aides. The governor congratulated the appointees and encouraged them to deliver their best service to the state and humanity.

These appointments will take effect from September 1, 2024.
