Kogi Deputy Governor Leads Novelty Match to Celebrate Gov Ododo’s First Year in Office

Lokoja, Kogi State – In a lively display of unity and sportsmanship, Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, led members of the State Executive Council in a novelty football match against the State House of Assembly on Friday at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja. The event was part of activities marking the first anniversary of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy Governor Joel Salifu’s administration, which will be officially celebrated on January 27, 2025.

The State House of Assembly team was led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar, as both sides battled to a goalless draw in a match filled with enthusiasm and friendly competition.
