Kogi 2023: Low Turnout At Ankpa APC Rally, As People Shunned & Rejected Ododo’s Money

Before the state’s November 11th governorship election, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) held a campaign rally today in the Ankpa Local Government Area.

The people reportedly declined the offer of 5,000 naira per head and only registered once to voice their opposition to the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate.

“The APC thinks we can be bought by money; we proved to them today that our resolve is stronger than money and there’s nothing anyone can do about it,” said Abdullahi Ugbede, a resident of Ankpa who spoke to the media.

The Ankpa people have clearly rejected Ododo; all they want is an Igala governor, and they are prepared to work to make that happen. He spoke.

On November 11th, the Kogi governorship election will take place, and given the state’s present political landscape, it should be a fascinating spectacle.
